Roadtrip | Genting Highland

Look at the fog! We went there on mid December and it was freaking cold. The fog covered 80% of Genting Highland surface that day. (Praise the Lord for my warm and comfy sweater, I didn't catch a cold.)

Yes, this was on my draft. Just in case I didn't have the time to update. I know what you all gonna say if I'm M.I.A again, "There she goes again, have to wait another year for a new post from her..". Well that's what I thought of myself.

Moving on..

Before I quit my (horrible) job, my manager arranged a roadtrip to the coldest side of Malaysia which is Genting highland. Our first intention was to go to the Kpop Fair because we know how much our manager and loves Kpop (and my obsession towards 17 hot Korean guys, EXO and BigBang and my Chinese friend Ong KahLing with her MBLAQ and Beast). Unfortunately the fair ended earlier than we thought.

So we just enjoyed our overnight trip with some major childish act by spending the entire weekend went on the children's rides and games etc. The outdoor amusement park is closed for 2 years for a major upgrade by The 20th Century Fox and will be open again on 2016.

Got to stay at the hotel for free bcos my manager have enough Genting VIP Point in her card.

Snacks we brought for late night munch. But we're not really bothered to eat them because we were busy playing, went to the Snow World and watching movies while my manager spend her night at Genting Casino.

We didn't wait for another minute to waste in the hotel room, we went to the next building that offered almost everything that you want. Skipped the hotel buffet dinner and went to Steamboat buffet instead. 

Genting indoor building reminds me of Las Vegas somehow. With the replica of the Eiffel Tower etc. we rode the dolphin floating ride just to just because. Nothing special about it.

And later, they transformed into Korean Idol and performed Teen Top - Rocking, Psy - Gentleman, Super Junior - Spy, Lee Hyo Ri - Bad Girl, 4Minute - What's Your Name, EXO - Wolf, Troublemaker - Now, B1A4 - What's Going On? and so much more. 

We sang and danced along with them (no we are not shameless but because the other crowds did too haha) They performed till late night, and we asked each other, "Don't they get tired?"

My morning view.. FOG! But I can see the mountain.. I went out from the hotel lobby and saw this decor. So cute feels like I was living in Katy Perry's Teenage Dream album. 

It's like a tradition for people to enjoy hot coffee in Genting while the cold breeze blew the shit out of you. So I chose Starbucks because it was the nearest coffee shop from my hotel and because I love their Christmas special's, Toffee Nut Latte.

They are tons of other photos in my library but I assumed nobody wants to see it anyway. Plus too many photos in one post can cause the page to lag a bit so I'm trying not to do that to your laptop. kekeke~ The night before we're leaving, we went to Snow World, Haunted Mine, Ripley's Believe  It Or Not museum, Euro Xpress (mini roller coaster), watch The Hobbit 2 3D and took a stroll around Genting mountain at 3am while our manager went and had fun at Genting Casino.

I told myself not to post this up because it hurts me but I want to see this post in the future and smile about it. I stopped seeing these peeps after this trip. I didn't know what went wrong but all I know is they said it was all down to me. But I don't even care. It's not the end of the world.
