January Favourites | 2021

First monthly favourites for 2021 and I have a lot to share but I managed to narrow it down. But first, how's 2021 so far? Mine has been pretty much the same because I still feel like it's 2020. Kind of like deja vu now that we're back under RMO, just like March last year. Not gonna hold my breath but still hoping that things will slowly get better.
Just like November, January is filled with family and close relative's birthdays so it was full of anticipations. It was exciting until the covid case's spiked from 3k to 5k and then bam! Back to Restrictions of Movement Order and the only breadwinner in our house can't no longer work because of that. Lama-lama kami semua makan pasir agaknya. Anyway, here's my January Favourites.

SMTOWN LIVE ⏤ CULTURE HUMANITY (FREE ONLINE CONCERT)

What a way to start my 2021. Usually, fans will have to fork out their savings just to attend SMTOWN live concerts and it usually take place at Tokyo Dome but this time, all the fans from the entire world can watch from the first class seats ⏤ which is the comfort of your own home, as long as you have internet connections. I woke up super early to get ready. I prepared myself a nice meal, charged my laptop to a full battery, It was a blast and I had super great time, all by myself. I know I hate to say this but I wish we could do this again even though it's better to see them in person.

MICHELLE YOUNG CAFE & SALTED CARAMEL SCONES

I managed to visit one last cafe before the government announced second RMO. I will blog about this cafe once I am done with the other 2 that I went before that. Just wanted to share 2 things that I like about this cafe. First is the interior and themed and second, was the delicious Salted Caramel Scones. I am obsessed with it. I wish I know how to make the salted caramel sauce so I can have it at home whenever I feel like it.

PENTHOUSE: WAR OF LIFE K-DRAMA

Just like Sweet Home, this is unexpectedly good. Me and sister started watching it randomly on episode 7 because we have nothing to watch and it turns out to be thrilling, gut-wrenching, intense and annoying. That's how you know the actors and actresses played the character really well. We hate the cliff-hanger but we are excited for season 2. To those who loves K-Drama but never get the chance to watch Penthouse, make sure you do because trust me, you won't be disappointed.
Can you imagine my brother-in-law who doesn't watch korean related shows and drama would rush home from work just so he won't miss any episode. And if he does, he would stay up at 2am to watch the rerun. That's how good the drama is.

BUCKET B CAFE (KIDS CAFE)

When my brother-in-law had a day off, we decided to bring my nephew to a kids cafe so he can enjoy himself after so long being inside the house or just go from the grocery to the mall and that's all he ever experienced. Located at Ikano Power Centre and orders above RM20 granted the kids to play around and use all the amenities for free, otherwise you need to pay admission fee RM10 for each kid. We had a nice meal while Jayden play inside the playground. Really recommended to those who wants to have a little family time in a safe environment over a delicious meal.

So that was my January favourites. I will stick to 4-5 favourites because I don't want the post to get too long because I know I hate reading long blog post so I don't want my reader to feel the same about my post. I know I posted a little late as usual because I realised how happy I am without social media platforms. I've been spending so much time with my family, playing video games, reading and just stuffing myself with good food and watch my favourite shows. I hope everyone is having a good time despite being locked down again and I know how frustrating it is.
