Unboxing | Airpods

Hey guys, the title gave it away right? And you obviously know what this post is about. Frankly, I don't want to jump on the AirPods bandwagon but I guess I'm late for the party? Like I mentioned in this post, I went to the Apple store to trade-in my laptop and asked about my glitchy iPhone ⏤ apparently the motherboard is broken ⏤ and I also look for the HDMI adapter for my tv but it was sold out. So I randomly walked around the store and I was like, "you know what? Just wrap that one for me please." while pointing at the square box with AirPods image plastered on it. Demons took me over, I swear ⏤ and adding irresistible, cute AirPods cases to cart on Aliexpress even before I bought the AirPods, was not helping either.

Okay let's not do that, Tqa. Don't feel bad, enjoy it, you deserved it, it's your own money, you earned it. I decided to use it even though I hate earphone with earpods design because it hurts my ears pinna or  crus of helix to be exact after more than half an hour of using, and I preferred in-ear earphones like my Sudio Vasa because it is super comfortable and it block the outside noise completely as if I'm in my own world. 
One of the reason what I like about bluetooth or wireless earphones is that I am free to move around without having to be extra careful about my clumsy movement. I do bullet journaling most of the time and I write a lot so sometimes it can be a little annoying when I accidentally stained my earphone wires or accidentally cut them (it happened before) so that is a plus point for me. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ I also did a fit test with all sorts of positions and situations like wearing AirPods while carrying my nephew, laying down, running, aerobic and walking around mall for 15 minutes. I am impressed how both pods fit in my ears perfectly and didn't feel it would popped out of my ears because I read AirPods most common problems are:

1. AirPods doesn't stay in your ears
2. Battery life keep decreasing, lesser and lesser.
3. Connection glitch between multiple devices
4. One pod stopped working after 2 months
5. Random speaker drop (or stop working for good). Most users spent more time exchanging and troubleshooting with Apple Support reps than they DO using the AirPods.

As of now, I have no said problems above, I seldom use it because at home I use the cheap earphones and I use the Sudio Vasa in the car or whenever I commute from one place to another. Hopefully it won't cause any problems in the next 2 months.

I have to admit that I like the design and the outer appearances but I know myself, I'm a little clumsy so unlike my other earphones, I won't be using this to sleep or laying down watching movies on my bed because I know I will lost one or the other between my bedsheets and my bed frame. I won't risk it. The sound is okay, I still think my $18 bucks earphones that I got from a bookstore sounds better than the AirPods and it's got amazing bass too, the cheap one. And one thing for sure I need a case asap because the charging case scratches easily.
In conclusion, if I have to be honest it's not worth the money. Buy yourself Sudio Tolv or Samsung Galaxy Buds for far better value and sound quality. So that was it, if you guys planning on buying one, don't listen to me, I'm always like this, unhappy about my purchase for the first few weeks, I wasn't happy when I bought my Macbook Air either but in times, I learned how to use it and I like it. Not sure about this one still but hopefully it last longer than 2 months. But still, I will enjoy this aesthetic wireless pods until it can't be use anymore. Thank you for reading. Much love, T.
