As promised, I'm going to show you guys our home for the entire trip. I was enjoying the view of Juan-Dong from the balcony when I drafted this post. The host was super nice. He was super helpful even though we didn't get to meet him. He can speak fluent English. He used to live in Malaysia for a year as well.
Our house is quite strategic to be honest, 3 minutes walk to the train station, every shops, grocery stores, CGV Cinema and cafes everywhere and anything you need is within walking distance including bus stations and taxis. And best yet, a few stations away from the Incheon beaches.
The right one is for the hot shower. |
The entrance door and shoe closet next to the door |
The bathroom. Amenities and other items ready such as towels, toothbrushes, wet tissues, toilet papers, shampoo etc |
Fridge is on the right. Closets on the far end with the red stripe. Cabinets for board games, iron, hair dryers, vanity and other fashion stuff in the center. |

This house has everything that most normal guesthouse couldn't offer: ceiling-to-floor glass window, 100 channels on flat screen tv including OCN, 4GLTE unlimited high speed wifi, intercom, IKEA furnitures and kitchenware, musical kitchen appliances and washing machine and dryer (lol! Yeah Korean appliances makes music and speak to you once everything is done) and most importantly a great balcony with spectacular view of Juan-Dong city.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This apartment and the one above us are the only units that has a balcony. But our unit is the only one that has full glass window and door. |
My view everyday. hahaha I don't know why but I love it! Adam's bed is above mine so he kept on complaining about how close his feet with the air conditioner was. |
My bed. I'm pretty big so I got my own space that way I won't crushed my friends haha and I love the view from my bed. |
I like to find a place that has tons of natural light throughout the space, |
Ayu and Ashley's bed. The sofa bed next to the tv. |
Ayu's food supply. |
Mine is on the right and Ashley and Adam's on the left. Yeah I brought 2 cans of cheese baked beans. |
Brought this bottles because I need a container to stored all my cereals. It was really handy. Sugarcane sugar ihsan tuan rumah haha |
Our main food every 3 days here. ₩1,000 rice. Spotted our potatoes bag yet? Dry ingredients in South Korea is so cheap. You can't get that much potatoes with RM3 ($1) worth. |
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I took these photos like 3 days later because I was tired and my back was still sore from carrying a 9kg backpack and lifting 18.8kg luggage up & down of Korean steep subway stairs hence the messiness around the house. Well, we are girls anyway. Hahahah just kidding.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Night view from our place overlooking the busy Juan-dong, Namgu, Incheon. CGV Cinema is just right in front of us though hehe :) |
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I read in so many blogs that they paid so much for guesthouses that shares everything because 'guesthouse is cheap and saving..' Really? Over RM60 for a night and shared bathroom, tv, kitchenware and some guesthouse's owners ask for money if you wish to use the washing machine? I don't find that reasonable at all.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Our studio apartment is only RM150 per night for a total of RM1,950 for 13 nights, divided by 4, we only paid RM488 each. and it was super clean and we don't have to share with other people, plus we received more than we hoped for. Choose your accommodation wisely. It's not all about the location, sometimes it's about comfort and conveniency (is that even a word? lol).
Anyway Thank You for reading. Will be posting more soon. Love, T

Deleteyour guesthouse was so nice and was actually a bargain ! i need to stay here too if i go there :D
ReplyDeleteReal bargain I must say although a bit far from Seoul but 15 minutes is okay.
DeleteWhat a bargain stay for the 4 of you. And so nice to hear that you had no problems with the house. Evidently, it looks decent and clean as well. And the view...oh yesss! Love you guys punya stock makanan! Mannn, Asian foods jugak yang the best. Lol.
ReplyDeleteAnd oh, Korean appliances really speak to us when they're done? Cool! xD
Clean, efficient and strategic location is what I really look for in a guesthouse/homestay. Price tu, boleh di runding lagi but it's a bonus if I can find cheap ones.
DeleteHahaha yeah they do! Masing2 berebut nak masak nasi, basuh or keringkan baju sebab seronok pulak dengar 😂
